We are 12 miles from the historic city of York, with a park and ride bus service only 8 miles from the farm taking you to the city centre. York Maze and Elvington Air Museum are about 5 miles from the site. We are 6 miles from Pocklington, with Burnby Hall gardens and its fine collection of water lilies. There is a Sainsburys and Co-Op supermarket there and also several takeaways.

We are approx 45 minutes drive from the East Coast, with Hornsea being the nearest coastal resort. Scarborough, Whitby and Bridlington are about an hrs drive away.

There is a shop in the village which sells most provisions and Melbourne Arms Public House serves evening meals.
